VECTOR CONTROL FORMS DUE SUNDAY MAY 31ST. 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟(Extra blank forms in the drop box if needed.)
🦟Let's keep our cohesive effort to reduce the amount of pests in our beautiful neighborhood going for the 27th year. Vector control permission forms will be dispersed to mailboxes this week. This is a free service provided by Clackamas County and usually occurs mid-summer. Please return the forms by 5/31/26 to drop box @ 16665 S. Archer Dr. Extra forms are located at the drop off location as well.
Next general meeting is Sunday May 3rd, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. We will have a guest speaker from Clackamas County Disaster Management to talk about preparedness. Every neighbor is welcome and encouraged to attend! RSVP on the calendar page!
4/22/26 April's board Meeting minutes have been uploaded! Dates have been determined for the upcoming noxious weed spraying in the common areas. The first will be held on May 2nd and a reminder text will go out the morning of. Also the General meeting was scheduled for May 3rd, 2026 so please mark your calendars. A work party has been penciled in for May 30th so please clear your schedules to lend a hand in cleaning up the common areas. The egg hunt held on April 4th was a great success and allowed for neighbors and kids to get together and have a great time outdoors. We have also scheduled the yearly HOA Neighborhood Picnic for August 9th for BBQ pulled pork (veggie options as well) and potluck style sides. Please RSVP with the link on the calendar of events to let us know what dish you'd like to contribute. The bus stop shelter build has been put on hold for the moment as the star craftsman is temporarily unavailable for construction. If you would like to volunteer to assist in the bus stop build please submit a request in the HOA request form and we will get in touch! See meeting minutes for more breaking news.
3/24/26 Our second year hosting the self-led Egg Hunt will be held the first Saturday of April again in the large common areas with easiest street access. There will be an event post on Facebook and one sent through the website. Please RSVP as soon as possible to get a head count & general amount of eggs we'll need. The kids loved searching last year, we even had adults replenishing the eggs throughout the morning 😉!! There will be a limit again this year (posted on sandwich board prior to event) but any remaining eggs after 11:30 are fair game. Also any shells can be recycled for next year in the container placed at the bus stop on Fawn & Archer. See you there!
3/1/26 The general meeting was held this evening and here's some time-sensitive information to get out prior to the publishing of Meeting Minutes: Clackamas Soil & Water Conservation District is hosting it's annual Tree School at Clackamas Community College with over 72 courses avail on March 21st, 2026. This is an amazing opportunity to get training and education from professionals regarding native species, forest & tree management, chain-saw operation and all sorts of related offerings. Sign-ups started 2/11 and some classes fill up fast. Costs range from $45-90 Here's the link: 2026 Tree School
There were about 20 neighbors in attendance and some news includes new volunteers for Architectural Committee (Robert Dunkle & Jason Gomez), possible bus stop structure plans and updated financials. Minutes to be uploaded to website as soon as edited. Remember everyone is welcome to attend any monthly Board meeting and Gen Meetings are held quarterly. We are in the process of scheduling next months meeting and it will be updated on the Calendar of Events page as well as upcoming neighborhood work parties beginning this spring.
The next General Neighborhood Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at Jeremy & Tammy Taylor's residence; 16632 S. Arrowhead Dr. at 6PM. All are welcome to attend! General meetings are held quarterly in adherence to the guidelines set forth by the HOA CC&R's. Please attend if you would like to discuss any pressing matters. We currently need volunteers for the VP spot, Architectural Committee and Common Area Committee.
2/13/26 Street parking has again become an issue for the neighborhood and several neighbors have reported speeding and “close calls” around the blind corners. We have lowered the speed to 15 MPH to help but overnight street parking is not permitted for more than 7 consecutive days if absolutely necessary. If you need accommodations please contact the HOA to inform of any needs exceeding the current allowance. Let's keep our neighborhood SAFE!
2/2/26 Please be mindful Hunter Heights does not have a waste management janitorial service. Poop bags are not to be left for others to clean up at the ends of our trails. Please scoop your poop and dispose of it in your own waste bins. This has been seen numerous times in the last month, enough to be “a thing.”
Feb 2026 Board meeting rescheduled to March 1st, 2026. Details in calendar.
Happy 2026 everyone! Keep an eye out for an email from James, the President of the HOA, to start the new year.
As a friendly reminder yearly dues need to be mailed to HHHOA PO Box 1265 in Oregon City, OR 97045 by the end of January 2026. Please add your address in the memo line if it is not printed on your check. If you have a double lot please remit payment for both. Anyone with financial concerns please reach out to the Board to avoid late fees which will accrue after the 31st.
Following up from the General Meeting held on Nov 2nd, 2025 you may find updates or correspondence from the Disaster Committee (Cami & Darrin George) who are trying to get our community back on track. Also it was discussed the RV storage area has not been properly maintained and managed for a few years. You might see renewal notices going out to current key holders. These spaces are to be renewed yearly with the HOA and the keys will change in Jan 2026. Meeting minutes should be finished and published shortly for all topics discussed.
The General Meeting was held @ 6PM this evening (11/2/25) and the topical Agenda has been uploaded to the Meeting Minutes page. (Official Minutes will soon follow). Thank you to Jeremy & Tammy Taylor for allowing us to use their beautiful space and to all who came out to show support for our neighborhood; Attendance was around 20 neighbors, including our new Fawn Residents, Erin & Julian Corrales. It was nice to have new faces in the bunch! Positions are still vacant for the Architectural Committee and Vice President.

8/23/25 During recent months we've seen an increase of stolen cars and abandoned vehicles in the neighborhood. This past week a house was burglarized on Archer Drive. Please be vigilant in reporting any suspicious behavior to Clackamas County Sheriff non- emergency (503) 655-8211. Also locking doors and windows, and remove valuables from vehicles.
The Annual Neighborhood Picnic sponsored by the HOA was held this past Sunday and, despite the 98°temp, 40 neighbors came out to visit. All the food was wonderful and a big thanks to everyone who came out in attendance to support our neighborhood and the HOA.

Pulled pork will be served along with drinks and the whatever potluck dishes are brought! Come to hang out, meet your neighbors and catch up with old friends. It's going to be hot so pop-up canopies are welcome to add to the limited shade. The kids will have the hay bale treasure hunt to look forward to as well as some other games throughout the day. The impromptu HOA Egg Hunt was a great success and brought out over 20 kids to explore the outdoors. We plan to make this a yearly event with the positive feedback we received. Most egg shells were returned to use again next year!
We have rescheduled the general meeting for the following week; Kevin Brown will host the meeting at his home located at out 16540 S Archer Drive on Tuesday March 18th at 7 PM
3/8/25; The general HOA meeting scheduled for next week (March 11th) will be rescheduled due to unexpected absences of both President and Vice President. Date and time will be updated ASAP. Hold tight!
It's almost the end of January and IT'S 2025 DUE TIME! We have attempted to email invoices to everyone in the neighborhood but have run into some issues. Another attempt was made this evening. Please check your emails if you have yet to receive an invoice for 2025 HOA dues. The due date has been extended to February 15th due to the delay. If needed you can request a paper copy by emailing [email protected] or you can send in your $210 ($420 double lots) payment to PO BOX 1265, Oregon City, OR 97045. Please include your name and address with your payment.
Happy New Year Hunter Heights residents! If you haven't seen the recent Firewise post from Kevin Brown on FB regarding our updated Firewise status, please take a look. There are some good tips for us to take into consideration to protect our homes and neighborhood. The California wildfires are a grave reminder of how how easily something like that can happen here.
An HOA board meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 13th, 2025 at 7:00 at the president James Warner's house on Arrowhead. Everyone is welcome, although we do have General meetings quarterly. Also, we are looking to fill a few board positions. This really only takes up a couple hours a month and is greatly needed. Our board is dwindling as we are having some movement. Wish our friends Rick and Connie Stockton farewell as they have placed their house up for sale and are moving shortly. Rick will be retiring as our Treasurer for the last 10 years and the position is vacant as of now. Thank you Rick, for your years of service! Also, we are looking for a Secretary and an ArchitecturalCommittee chair. Angelica Comer, our current secretary, is hoping to vacate and has assumed the treasurer duties temporarily, but it's really more than one person should have to take on. (Thank you Angelica😉)
12/8/24; It's officially the holiday season and just a quick reminder to everyone; this is when we usually start to see the cold create issues with the power lines. Get your generators tuned-up and ready for some action in addition to some full spare fuel cans. Have extension cords easy to access along with flashlights and candles for emergency lighting. Don't forget extra batteries! Let's hope the outages are few and far between, if any, and we have a safe and uneventful winter.

The annual HOA potluck/picnic was a great success. The kids made out like bandits with candy, coins and Hot Wheels cars (donated by the Fox gentleman) and a few prizes were won by the adults as well. Jeremy and Tammy Taylor smoked up pounds of delicious pulled pork with home-made sauces and topped off the meal with soda stand-worthy root beer floats. The cornhole tournament produced our first champions: Mark Dye (VP) and Blaise Dinkelman, whose family lives at the bottom of Outlook. Congratulations to those two. It was earlier than normal but we had a great turnout and hope to see everyone next year around the same time. This is a great way to meet and converse with new neighbors or old friends. I think the homemade desserts are the best part...and we sure have a lot of talented bakers in the neighborhood. Thank you to everyone who attended and the folks who made it possible.

A Big Thanks to the Dirty Dozen! Thank you everyone (12) who participated in the initial site preparation within the Deer Trail Common Area last Saturday. It was a messy job! We will need more volunteers going forward. This is everyone's neighborhood and we rely on your help to make things happen. We're all busy, so even a couple hours of your time would help lessen the load. More info to come on upcoming work party dates. Let's create something good!
